Saturday afternoon we dyed Easter eggs. The girls were way excited.

I found some dye that you painted on with a little sponge brush. The girls watched intently as Scott demonstrated.

I thought it worked a lot better for little kids then the normal putting in the cup of dye.

The girls even did fairly well keeping the colors separated.

Martha Ann really got into the painting and was very thorough about covering all the white.

I will definitely try and do it this way again next year. The girls would have kept doing more but I was out of eggs.

It turned out to be a good thirty minute activity and not too much of a mess, other than their hands which they wanted a picture of.

I need to find those little sponge brushes--what a great idea. Looks like the girls ate having a wonderful time! Miss you.
