Maren's Tooth

Maren has had a loose tooth for the past month. I thought she was a bit young (she's only four), but I guess if you teeth early (at three months) your teeth come out early.
Yesterday Maren decided that it was time to pull it out. We tried the dental floss and doorknob trick, but we couldn't get the dental floss to stay on the tooth. Scott tried to pull it out but Maren just went hysterical. We have a video tape of it, but I don't know how to put those on the computer.
I tried for awhile to pull it out, while Maren sobbed hysterically because she was afraid she was going to swallow it. After a bribe of being able to watch Kung Fu Panda if she would settle down, the tooth came out.

Hopefully, the next one comes out a bit easier.

Maya is going to be SO JEALOUS. She asks me nearly every day if she has any loose teeth, now she's got Harrison asking too. Way to go Maren!! You're a big girl now!

Awesome post

did the tooth tied to the doorknob ever work for any of your teeth?

Hey Maren,
How is it going to get your first tooth out? How much money are you going to get?

I love that first picture. She looks horrified! We used pliers at my house. They worked every time. It doesn't seem like the sanitary choice now, but at the time it didn't bother me.

The doorknob is a scary but efficient "instrument" but the look on her face is all too familiar.
It's the "every child" look faced with having their tooth terror...
Hugs and Kisses Maren You are a brave girl !!!
