Wagon Rides

Maren was very disappointed that she doesn't get to ride the bus to the school because we live too close. We live about 0.8 miles from the school which works out to be about a 15 min. walk for Maren and I. If Lydia and Martha are walking, it's more like 25-30 min.

I knew that I was going to need something that Martha and Lydia could both ride in. So I got this.

The girls seem to really enjoy riding in it. They even like to give each other rides. Surprisingly Martha can actually pull it herself.

It usually takes us about 50 min. to drop Maren off and then another 50 min. to pick her up. It seems to eat up a lot of our day, but I guess it's good that we are getting some forced exercise. The girls all like to walk for awhile. Even Martha will usually walk at least half the time, which is the main reason it takes so long.

Martha Ann insists on wearing her ba-pa (backpack) every morning to school so she can be like Maren. She wears it the whole time, even when she walks. She has also recently become addicted to her plug/binkie/whatever you call it. She always wants it and I pretty much have to bribe it away from her. I've decided I'll worry about this in a few months, but not now.
