Lydia's Birthday

Lydia turned four last month. She was so excited for her birthday. We had big plans, but then the big snowstorm hit and we were homebound.
Nana Cindy sent this cute outfit. Lydia loves it and wears it often.
Lydia was very excited to open her presents. Luckily I had gotten her some playdough and art supplies so we were able to keep busy despite being snowed in. She was a little excited, if you can't tell.
Martha Ann was right there trying to help.

Lydia loves art and playdough and anything crafty.

She loved talking on the phone and listening to my family sing Happy Birthday.

Lydia does not really like cake besides the frosting, so I thought I'd try an ice cream cake for her. She loved it and I think I will definitely do that again for her.

All in all it was a good day. I love it that my kids are still little and easy going and don't mind doing anything big for their birthdays.

Happy birthday to such a sweet, beautiful little gal!

Love the ice cream cake idea, I think I'll do that for me and scotty's birthdays!
